F.A.Q
Typical bumper or panel can be done in as soon as 3 hours. Something that's more excessive in body work could be near 5 hours. It may require plastic welding, or multiple layers of bondo or primer and the time curing in-between. Something longer than 5 hours is usually not worth the repair and is cheaper to replace.
Body shops are known to be a long process, it could take weeks before they can take your car in - then it would take days until you get your car back. Whereas I can have it done in a few hours for a fraction of the body shop cost.
I Use your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to obtain your vehicle's color code. All repairs are done privately, and I will never report damage to an insurance company or use a 3rd party system that can report "damage" or "repair" to insurance or carfax.
Some bumpers and panels are just too damaged even a seemingly light damaged bumper may be too wobbly and would require lots of bondo layers and hours of work - so buying a new part and painting it to color is the cheapest way to go.
Removing film is much harder than installing it and gets harder the older it gets. It's messy and removing adhesive can take hours, removing Tint, PPF, or Vinyl usually costs as much as the install amount, in some cases even more.
The only time outdoor elements affect the quality is in the clear coat. Painting outdoors always has its risks, Small debris and dust can cause the clearcoat to fisheye, but this can be wet sanded and polished out. Paint work may have tiny debris or fisheye left, these usually cant be seen from more than a foot away, and are rare.
The only required pre-payment will be the cost of pre mixed paint. I dont use a paint system yet, and all paint has to be ordered ahead of time. This pre-payments is only for the base coat, clear coat, rest of supplies and labor are charged at pickup. The pre-payments is avoidable if you provide your own paint.
